Shelby & Dusk

Shelby (formerly Layla) and Dusk (formerly Brisbane) are doing great. We adopted Shelby 2 years ago and she has been the best dog. Didn’t think we could hit the jackpot again through a rescue. Then our sweet Emilie passed away at Thanksgiving and we knew we wanted another dog. We went back to New Leash on Life and found Dusk in January. He and Shelby are best of friends. They are constantly playing with each other or cuddling. They are the sweetest pair ever. Every night when I put my boys to bed, both dogs follow me, jump on the bed while I read good night stories, then follow me to the next room for the next story. I can’t imagine life without them.

Nora is a lovable girl who just goes with the flow. She loves car rides and hanging out with her other foster brothers and sisters. She is house, leash, and crate trained, and up to date on all of her vaccines. Nora is only nine months old, and she loves to play and spend time with people. Nora’s adoption fee is $175, which will go toward the care of other homeless animals.

Abby

Abby (formerly Dora) is doing great! She is doing some typical puppy stuff – but overall she is fabulous! We lost two of our beloved dogs within 3 months of each other – last year. Jazz was 13 years old and Salem was almost 17 years old. It was a tough loss! Abby has helped fill a huge hole in all of our hearts! She is full of life and gives lots of puppy kisses. My boys could not have a dog named Dora – they are 9 and almost 13 years old! They settled on Abby and she is now answering to that – playing fetch and making us all laugh. We love her and are so thankful for your organization.

I am neutered, house trained, and crate trained, so I would be perfect in a home. i can be a little shy when I first meet you, but I will warm up to you quickly! I like to play ball, or play with any toys that might be laying around. I like kids and cats, but sometimes I will be tempted to chase a kitty if I see it running around outside. I know that my play time is outside, so I will be calm and well-behaved inside of your house. I need a little more socialization in public places, so I hope that my forever family will be able to help me with that some.

Coonhound Mix

Sweetie Pie is a 2 year old Coonhound mix who was found in the woods in Kentucky. She was starving and had a wound on her neck. She is now a happy and healthy 50 lbs. She is very sweet and and has become a lap dog. She loves dogs and if you are a person with a dog, then you are the best!! She gets along well with all people, dogs and cats.She is learning to fetch and some other basic commands. She is house and leash trained.
